He was born in Kahramanmaraş in 1967. He finished primary, secondary and high school in Kahramanmaraş. He entered Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1984 and graduated in 1990. He completed his residency training in Istanbul Beyoğlu Training and Research Hospital in 1995. Then he worked as an ophthalmologist at Kahramanmaraş State Hospital for eleven years.
He has been continuing his career as Medical Director at Private Uğur Eye Hospital since 2006. Having many articles published in scientific journals, Op. Dr. Uğur Toka has studies on congenital cataract, phaco surgery, vitrectomy and keratoconus. He is very interested in learning and sharing what he has learned. He gives special importance to books, politics, Fenerbahçe and people and has dedicated his life to success and the benefit of society. He is married and has 3 children.
